Harbor Homes, Inc.

Since 1982, Harbor Homes, Inc. (HHI), a private, non-profit agency, has been, and continues to be a pioneer in providing residential and support services focused on the needs of persons living with mental illness. HHI's innovative approach to meeting more than just the basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing has led to the development of a wide range of service options ranging from minimum support to comprehensive mental health and housing services. HHI has developed more than a dozen residential environments specifically designed to meet the individual needs of our clients. These include a member-operated social club, employment services, and a recreational and educational program.

Bridge House Shelter The Pemi Bridge House is a Homeless Shelter located in Plymouth, NH. We provide emergency and transitional housing with supportive services to the area's homeless population. We also maintain a food pantry, laundry facilities, and are working to build a computer lab on-site for residents to use for skill and resume building. We are handicap accessible and offer a comfortable homelike atmosphere.

Southwestern Community Services Southwestern Community Services, Inc. (SCS) is one of six community action agencies throughout New Hampshire, and part of the larger network of 70 agencies in New England and nearly 900 agencies nationwide.  We have been serving the needs of our citizens for more than 39 years, beginning in 1965  when President Lyndon Johnson waged his “War on Poverty.” Over these 39 years our programs have evolved and expanded to keep pace with the constantly changing needs of our citizens. We strive to stay in touch with the real needs of the people and find or develop programs that will best serve those needs.  We have a diverse funding base ranging from federal to state and local governments, as well as private foundations and corporations.
