The HMIS team is happy to announce our new staff member Jay Marton.

Jay Marton, recent hire to the HMIS team, is from Nashua N.H. He has 3 years of experience in the homeless field and understands the fundamentals of working in a non-profit setting. He understands the concepts of collaboration to maximize efficiency in the workforce. Jay has made IT part of his life for the last 23 years and hopes to add some of his personal strengths to the HMIS team tasks. JOB POSTING FOR DATA ANALYST POSITION

Data Analyst – Full-time position requires creating and maintaining database reports. Responsibilities include: obtaining statistics from homeless service providers, statistical analysis and report writing using ART (Advanced Reporting Tool), which is SAP Business Objects software (similar to Crystal Reports).

APR (Annual Performance Report) Interim review guidance

We wanted to remind everyone that must submit an APR (Annual Performance Report) that the annual assessment must be recorded no more than 30 days before the anniversary of the client’s Project Entry Date, regardless of the date of the most recent ‘update’ or ‘annual assessment’, if any [annually]. Information must be accurate as of the Information Date.

The annual assessment is performed in the Entry/Exit tab using the "Interim" icon

We updated the annual assessment form, but only changed the wording to remind users when this must be done for reporting.

HMIS Maintenance Scheduled for 1/23/16

Starting at 10am central time on Saturday, January 23rd we will begin performing electrical maintenance in our data center to replace an electrical transformer.

As a result of this maintenance, all ServicePoint, ART, CommunityPoint, and HousingPoint sites hosted in our data center will be offline and unavailable from 10am - 2pm central on January 23rd.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve the reliability and integrity of our data center.

Final Rule on Defining “Chronically Homeless"

On December 4th, HUD released the Final Rule on Defining “Chronically Homeless.” The definition goes into effect on January 4, 2016 and HUD expects all providers operating Permanent Supportive Housing dedicated or prioritized to individuals and families experiencing chronic homelessness to use this definition for all new persons admitted to the program after January 15, 2016.

NH-HMIS ServicePoint 5 mandatory refresher training, week of November 2nd- 6th

Hello ServicePoint (HMIS) Agency Administrators, End Users & Outreach workers!

NH-HMIS ServicePoint 5 mandatory refresher training is taking place the week of November 2nd- 6th in three locations:

1. Nashua
2. Manchester
3. Concord

This training will cover all the changes for the new HUD Data Standards.

HMIS Data Standards changes for October 1, 2015

Currently Bowman Systems is still working on a release of software that will be complaint with the changes to the Data Standard. Bowman has until 10/1/15 to release a working version; we anticipate the changes to be in sooner.

All programs must start collecting these changes to Data Standard starting Thursday, 10/1/15.

This needs to be communicated to all data collection people/case managers, etc. They must use the new forms!
